On a Thursday morning @3am my 19 year old furnace finally broke down. My furnace was "red tagged". I had assumed i would not have heat until the next week at best.
I wanted to support the local businesses and called Residential. I talked with Renee at the end of the day and she was super helpful and went above and beyond to line me up for an install the next day (8am on friday). The next day bright and early they showed up to look at the install. Within short while the installers arrived. Everything went great and the entire team was great.
This entire situation went very well and would recommend them for sure. 5 out of 5

Dane from Residential Heating and Air Conditioning is an excellent service technician. This was our first time using this HVAC company. I'll start with a thank you to Residential for sending Dane our way. He was courteous and very patient. Overall, the quality of the service call was reflected in Dane's on-time arrival and in his ability to communicate and advocate on our behalf (read on). I ask a lot of questions. He answered every one. We have been in our house for one year. New to the Twin Cities, we asked around and chose Residential for a winter furnace inspection (furnace was newly installed in 2021 by a different company) Dane was concerned that a part under warranty was running way too hot. He immediately called the office for approval to order a replacement part from the manufacturer (affirmative). At the end of visit, Dane asked if we had any other questions related to our HVAC system. Without question, I'll use Residential Heating again.
Dane was professional, on time and gave me lots of great information about my new system! This is the second house we have installed heating and a/c units in with this company. Highly recommend them!
After being referred to Residential Heating from a few family members I decided to reach out for a quote. Our 37 year old furnace kicked the bucket just before winter and we needed a replacement fast.
Residential Heating came in with an affordable quote and was able to schedule the installation for just two days later. The installation was painless and professional - one main technician and three assistants (who came and went after performing their specialized tasks) got the whole job done in under six hours.
Now our aged campfire of a furnace has been replaced with a high-efficiency model and we couldn't be more happy. When our aged A/C unit kicks the bucket they'll certainly be getting another call.

We recently had the A/C go out, in an atypically hotter June/July. Chris of Residential Heating and Air Conditioning (RHAC) (which was recommended to us) quickly came to check on the issue.
The bad news was that the furnace blower was blown, and the furnace and AC were both too old for repair to make sense, so that we were looking at a completely unplanned A/C & Furnace replacement. The good news was that we were working with RHAC. Even though they were inundated with the service calls that surge during such unexpected hot seasons, they were able to give us a good price, and also deftly juggle their schedule and get the new A/C and Furnace (and new thermostat) ready and installed much more quickly than I would have expected in such a season.
Throughout this process, we found Renee M and the others at RHAC to be very candid, knowledgeable, responsive, and helpful. They were also very patient with our questions. Definitely recommend!
